The classic Laneige lip mask promises to hydrate the skin just as much as it hydrates your whole body. We don’t often think of what we put in our mouths when we are sleeping, but it’s actually a vital ingredient that helps us regulate our temperature and calm our minds so much more effectively than many other things do. It’s time to start using the supercharged vitamin C serum on all of your face, both day and night.
This cult hero facial oil revitalizes dry skin, rejuvenatens irritated skin and fights signs of aging by soothing, restoring and brightening the appearance of dull skin. Laneige is one of my favorite brands of everything natural to me. I love how they use organic ingredients and make products with less waste. Their brand has been around since 1957 and was started by two brothers who had no idea what good ingredients were until they found them in nature. That’s amazing because today we can find anything we want in abundance. But back then there were only 5 or 10 things available to us. Laneige was part of that limited selection. Not the top 3 but definitely not the bottom 3. What Laneige does well is come up with exciting new products based off their original formula. Laneige also makes a great facial moisturizer called the Miracle Cream Moisture which contains an innovative blend of fermented rice milk and extra virgin olive oil. These oils have antibacterial properties to help heal acne, remove dead cells and smooth the skin. They even claim to be infused with anti-aging ingredients like vitamins A and B complex, resveratrol, glycolic acid, moropenic acid and niacinamide. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Recipe : Nourish & Hydrate With Vitamin C, Antioxidants & Antimicrobial Ingredients:
1 oz. Turmeric Pressed Rice Powder (the turmeric comes from India) 1 tsp. Honey (optional but highly recommended!) 2 tsp. Rose Water + Orange Peel (if using orange peel add at least 2 tea bags for optimum results) 2 tbsp. Organic Coconut Oil (unsalted) 4 oz. Fermented Rice Milk (no sugar added.) 1 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional but highly recommended!) Salt/Pepper for Garnish:
Directions To Use: Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Cover with mason jar lid and shake gently or stir. Apply over any wet areas in minutes without being runny. Store leftovers within the refrigerator. For best results keep your mixture on hand in the fridge before going to bed so that it doesn’t dry out in the morning. In general it shouldn’t take very long, depending on how wet you are during the application. You may need to re-apply 1-2 times a week as your skin begins to produce more oil. Your skin should look noticeably clearer after just a few days. Note: Some people benefit from wearing the mask overnight. If for some reason you’re feeling too warm before bed then wait until next day before applying again. Be careful however, if you have sensitive skins you can make sure you aren’t causing irritation to sensitive areas like your eyes and lips.
